The DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division I came to an end with B8 winning the match against ALPHA. The best representatives far from the best region in Dota 2 fought for the opportunity to go to the first Major of the season. As a result of the competition, TSM and Shopify Rebellion received tickets to Lima.
There were no surprises this time either. The main favorites of the region were TSM, Shopify Rebellion who signed the former Evil Geniuses roster, and nouns. The team composed of representatives from America and Eastern Europe lost only to the leaders of the region and stopped in 4th place. The Ukrainian club B8 became the most unpredictable participant in the first DPC tour in North America.
Dendi introduced a new Dota 2 roster and decided to move from North America. For the most part, the Ukrainian squad lost 5 games in a row and didn’t look their best, but in the end, Dendi and the team defeated major tournament outsiders Thiuth Gaming and ALPHA. Thus, B8 was one step away from relegation from the league, i.e. in 6th place.

The top 8 representatives from North America competed for a prize pool of $205,000, 690 DPC Points and slots at the Winter 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023. The winner was Team TSM, who received a grand prize of $30,000, 300 DPC Points and a ticket to 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023.
Evil Geniuses and Beastcoast Will Represent Latin America at the Lima Major 2023
Peruvian teams Evil Geniuses and Beastcoast took their sixth victory in the DPC SA 2023 Tour 1: Division I, qualifying for the home Lima Major 2023. The teams were honored to represent Latin America at the upcoming championships in the Peruvian capital.
During the championship, the Evil Geniuses team had six wins and only lost one map (against Keyd Stars). In turn, the team from the beast also had six wins and ended the three-map streak twice. Now the teams must play in the final round of the competition to determine the winner of the DPC SA 2023 Tour 1: Division I and play a seeded match.
Note that previously Team Aster (China), Team Liquid (Western Europe), Execration (Southeast Asia), Shopify Rebellion and TSM (North America), BetBoom Team and Team Spirit (Eastern Europe) qualified for Lima Major 2023.

The Lima Major 2023 will take place from February 22 to March 5 in Peru at Arena 1.
