Proverbs 31:30 – Monday – 3.26.18

Today, to kick off the week, we went on a 26.2 mile bike ride, or an entire marathon. This really pushed all of us mentally, and physically, as you constantly want to quit because your legs are so tired. I am so happy that we were able to this, because it made every single girl on this trip do something none of us have done before, and showed us that if you put your mind to it, you can persevere through anything. We all enjoyed jamming to our favorite songs, and joking around and getting to know each other better. After the bike ride, we did a devotion on Proverbs 31:14, which says “She is like the ships of a merchant; she brings food from afar.” As Godly women, we need to be like a merchant ship by standing strong in hard situations, and being active both physically and mentally. We need to be active physically to take care of our body’s as they are a temple, and we need to be active mentally because if you stay still for awhile, you become dirty, and defiled so therefore are ineffective. After we finished our great devotion by Coach Sanders, she sent us off to a 30 minutes bus ride to Frozen Cow. We got all of our favorite ice cream flavors and headed to a table – somehow we fit 12 people at a 6 person table and joked around with each other by looking at memes and making many memories! After the delicious ice cream we headed back to the bus and jammed out to great music until we had to say goodbye to each other and wait for what’s to come for tomorrow.
