P. Diddy Early Life
Sean John Combs was born on November 4, 1969, in Harlem, New York to parents Melvin Earl and Janice. He was mostly brought up in Mount Vernon, New York. His father used to work for the US Air Force but was also recognized as an associate of a convicted drug dealer in New York. Meanwhile, his mother used to be a model and also worked as a teacher’s assistant.
Diddy went to Howard University and took up a major in business. In 2014, he earned an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities and was chosen to deliver the 146th Commencement Address of the University.

Sometime in 1990, Sean Combs started his music career as an intern at the Uptown Record, NY. Later on, he was promoted as a fundraiser for AIDS with Heavy D, which was held at the City College of New York.
After getting fired from Uptown, P. Diddy started his own label named Bad Boy Entertainment in 1993. From 1994 to 1995, he produced many songs for the CrazySexyCool album of the female group, TLC.
