Marc Anthony was born in New York City on 16th September 1968. He was named after a popular Mexican artist called Marco Antonio Muniz. Marc got his love for music from his father, Felipe. Marc Anthony had a full house with seven siblings, of whom he was the youngest.

Anthony was romantically involved with Debbie Rosado for some time around the 90s’. They also had a daughter together in 1994. Soon after they choose to adopt a son and complete their family, but soon they fell apart. In 1996, Marc started seeing Claudette Lali. They even got engaged, but things didn’t go anywhere. 1998 saw the end of this couple.
Soon after he separated from Claudette Lali, he got engaged to Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. They tied to knot in 2000. Shortly after the marriage, Dayanara was blessed with two healthy boys. But disaster struck this couple too. They divorced at the beginning of 2004.
Post-divorce, he got involved with Jennifer Lopez, with whom he had twins- Emme and Maximillian. Three years after the birth of the twins, this couple decided to divorce each other. Their divorce was finalized in 2014. In November 2014, Marc Anthony and Shannon de Lima tied the knot. By 2017, their divorce was finalized, and they were on different paths.

Marc Anthony’s Spanish debut came out in 1993- ‘Otra Nota’. His work shows hints of inspiration from artists like Tito Puente, Hector Lavoie, Ruben Blades, and Juan Gabriel. Soon after his debut album, he went on an American tour which not only promoted his album but also established him as the new face of salsa music.
In 1995, his next album ‘Todo a su tiempo’ came out. It was a massive hit- selling over 800,000 copies in America itself. This album was established as a gold record in the United States of America and Puerto Rico.
Marc Anthony has made significant contributions to the field of acting as well. Some of her initial performances include movies like ‘hackers’, ‘Big Night’, and ‘the Substitute’. His most important theatre performance includes ‘The Capeman’. ‘Bringing Out the Dead’, ‘In the Times of Butterflies’ and ‘ Man on Fire’ are some of his other movies.
